Layers and texture make me happy

Okay so i didn't post yesterday but I sure as hell got my art on.
I was flinging paint all over the place
I worked on my mannequin. i started a painting for dad - he doesn't know it yet. i worked on my coffee slips, priming those suckers up and then I just played with diffrent mediums seeing what kind of effects I could get. today was easy with just working on the painting a little bit and watching youtube videos.
i did order some more supplies which with any luck will be here this week :)
i'm sinking more and more into my little world of art and i love it

i think i'll play with something a lil more safe for the night
like gesso

it's monday
i spent most of last night sick
i'm just not feeling it today
so all i did was glue together some coffee slips
i have some i could gesso, but i can't find them anywhere

at any rate, i have glue on my fingers and if i can find those other slips, i'll have some gesso on them too

when I was playing with my masks earlier I took the left over spray and put it on another page I just wanted to see how the acrylics would react when the sprays were dry. that's it. I think im

• Created this blog
• Played with some new colors I got today (Cadmium Red- Quinacridone Violet- Quinacridone Magenta) love!
• Played with Distress Stain dabbers ( not sure I like them yet)
• Played with Distress ink pads to see how they react to water (not what I was looking for)

I'm happy with my start :)
